American Heart amigurumi & Free Pattern

 

Happy 4th of July!

Good Day America!,

today we Celebrate our Independence day,

 and I would like to  share with you 

this cute American Heart  free pattern I designed, 

good for key-chains or charms

hope you like this free pattern!

Let's get started!!!

Materials:

Blue, Red, White Gazzal baby cotton yarn

White embroidery thread for the stars**.

hook 1,75mm

Part 1 : We are going to start from the humps, 

I worked in rounds closing each row with sl.st  and making 1ch. to defined color changing.

First hump:

R1. in red: 5sc in magic ring. (5)

R2. in white: 5 inc (10)

R3, in red: (2sc,1 inc)x3 , 1sc (13)

R4. in white: (3sc,1inc)x3, 1sc (16)

R5. in red: 16sc (16)

R6. in white: 16sc (16)

Fasten off .

Second hump.Make in solid blue yarn another hump according these instructions (no changing colors) Don't cut the yarn....

Part 2

Joining humps 

R7. using blue yarn Start crocheting over blue piece: 16sc, change color to red and crochet (over bicolor piece) 16sc  (32)

R8. in white: (32)

R9. in red: (3sc, 1dec) x6 , 2sc (26)

R10. in white: 26sc (26). *at this point, yarn and needle sew closed the little opening between humps.

R11.in red: (2sc,1dec)x6 , 2sc (20)

R12. in white: 20sc (20)   **start stuffing tight

R13. in red: (1sc,1dec)x6 , 2sc (14)

R14.  in white: 14sc (14)

R15. in red: (1sc,1dec)x4, 1sc (10) 

R16 in red: (5dec) fasten off leaving yarn to sew the end.

Cross stitch stars over blue piece with embroidery white thread .

And you heart is done! 

You can do hearts in different solid colors or any combinations,  you can attach to a Key Chain Hooks with Key Rings or just a nice gold cord or lanyards to use as a charm.
