Image
Hello Everyone, Now, that the weather is cooling off, it's time to bring the scarves out, and that makes me happy!!!!  I have to admit that i have a slight "scarf addiction" and I am always looking for new uses of a scarf to satisfy my habit. I think, just like shoes, a girl can not have too many scarves! Scarves can be a classy accessory any woman can use,  they come and different styles and colors so you will never get tired  of the same one! So, Today I will share with you this Charming Scarf on striped yellow  & gray colors, I used Lion Brand Yarn Mandala that brings a variety of color combinations. All in white Baby Blanket! And Bubble Pop Stitch tutorial!

Image
If you are challenged by the Puff, Popcorn, Raspberry or Bobble stitch then here is an alternative, "the Bubble  Pop Stitch". It was a little hard to me to find the exact tension with the hook, to make it soft and puffy, but I am so happy with the final result.  I started  from one corner increasing in each row, in both sides, until  I got the desired size, continued decreasing in one side making a rectangle shape. The border was crocheted with shell stitch all around and embellished with white ribbon. Great for a baby boy or baby girl. Hope you like it! Now, Let me share with you my very first picture tutorial and writen pattern.  I used this corner to corner style or C2C with bubble stitch to make my "All in white Baby Blanket" and turned out very pretty!  Hope you can follow well and make with this sample, it is very easy to make just find your exact tension with the hook to make the Bubble very soft and puffy!  This sample has 14 row

Meet Lulu

Image
This cutie is one of my first attempts to make a Doll. While making her I traveled back to my childhood when I used to play with fabric dolls made for my grandma and aunties, and remember how much I love them! Looking for patterns on the web, I found out how easy you can fall in love with doll making,  you just let your imagination run thinking about how her face is going to turn out, the  hair color you will pick, make it curly or straight, you can even be a fashion designer when you make the tiny clothes and accessories, also  thinking on what name are you going to pick! This Doll's name is "Lulu", a nickname from Luisa, my mother's name. Actually  I made it for her. :) I am going to share with you the source that inspired me to make this doll; For the body I used a pattern taken from Pinterest,  but I did a modification with her head and I used a 5.5 inches  circumference to make it with the "soft sculpture doll techniques" and I was so happy with th
