Valentine's Mini Teddy bear figurine and Heart amigurumi - FREE Pattern

Hello everyone!

Valentine's day is approaching 

and I bring this quick & easy pattern

inspired in all the Teddies that represent 

"Love" on that day!

This Mini Teddy was handmade with 100% cotton yarn, 

he is just 4 inches tall and comes  along with a little heart.

He is so cute! 😍 and can be ready in few hours!!

Teddy Bear Pattern

Materials:

White cotton yarn

Black and white embroidery floss

Red ribbon 

Hook 1.75mm 

Legs (2)

r1. 5sc in a magic ring(5)

r2. 5inc (10)

r3. (sc,inc)x5 (15)

r4. -r9 sc around , sl st (15)

Fasten off. 

Crochet another leg but don't cut the thread, join them together with sl st. and keep working to make the Body, stuff while working.

r5. sc around (30)

r6. dec, 13sc, dec,13sc (28)

r7. sc around (28)

r8. dec, 12sc, dec,12sc (26)

r9. sc around (26)

r10. dec, 11sc,dec, 11sc (24)

r11. sc around (24)

r12. dec, 10sc, dec, 10sc (22)

r13. dec, 9sc, dec, 9sc (20)

r14. dec, 8sc, dec, 8sc (18)

r15. dec, 7sc, dec, 7sc (16)

r16. dec, 6sc, dec,6sc (14)

Fasten off.  Leave long thread to sew the body to the head.

Arms (2)

r1. 5sc in a magic ring (5)

r2. 5inc (10)

r3- r9 sc around(10)

r10. dec, 3sc, dec, 3sc (8)

r11- r12. 8sc (8)

r13. fold and work 4sc to close the piece(4) stuff just half of the arm

Fasten off,  leaving thread to sew arms to the body.

Head:

r1. 5sc in a magic ring.(5)

r2. 5inc (10)

r3. (sc,inc)x5 (15)

r4. (2sc,inc)x5 (20)

r5. (3sc,inc)x5 (25)

r6. (4sc,inc)x5 (30)

r7-r12.  sc around (30) place eyes between r8-r9 with a space of 5 stitches

r13. (4sc, dec)x5 (25)

r14. (3sc, dec)x5 (20)

r15. (2sc,dec)x5 (15)

r16. (sc,dec)x5 (10)

fasten off. stuff, embroider the nose or do a magic ring with 6sc using fine black yarn, you can embroider the eyes as well

Ears: (2)

r1. 5sc in a magic ring, don't close, ch1, turn

r2. inc, 3sc, inc. ch1, turn 

r3.  2inc, 3sc, 2inc

fasten off leaving long thread to sew ears to the head. Place them at the sides between r4- 8, 4stitches from each eye.

Little heart ❤with a fine red yarn:

In a magic ring work work 3ch, 2DC, 2hdc, 1DC,2hdc,2DC, 3ch, sl st, fasten off, closed tight the magic ring and make a knot, leaving long tail to sew the heart on the body, you can glue it as well .

-Place a little ribbon 🎀 on his neck , embroider his eyes and his little snout.

Crochet heart ❤️

 Materials:

❤Red Baby cotton yarn 

❤️hook 1,75mm  

Part 1 : We are going to start from the humps, 

I worked in rounds closing each row with sl.st  and making 1ch.

First hump:

R1. 5sc in magic ring. (5)

R2.  5 inc (10)

R3. (2sc,1 inc)x3 , 1sc (13)

R4. (3sc,1inc)x3, 1sc (16)

R5. 16sc (16)

R6. 16sc (16)

fasten off.

Part 2

Joining humps 

R7. 16sc, over one piece continue 16sc on second piece (32)

R8. 32sc (32)

R9.  (3sc, 1dec) x6 , 2sc (26)

R10.  26sc (26). *at this point, with a piece of yarn and needle sew closed the little opening between humps.

R11.(2sc,1dec)x6 , 2sc (20)

R12. 20sc (20)   **start stuffing tight

R13. (1sc,1dec)x6 , 2sc (14)

R14. 14sc (14)

R15. (1sc,1dec)x4, 1sc (10) 

R16. (5dec) . fasten off leaving a tail to sew the end.

And your Teddy and his heart are done! 

Also, you can do hearts in different solid colors or any combinations,  you can attach to a Key Chain Hooks with Key Rings or just a nice gold cord or lanyards to use as a charm.
