All in white Baby Blanket! And Bubble Pop Stitch tutorial!

If you are challenged by the Puff, Popcorn, Raspberry or Bobble stitch then here is an alternative, "the Bubble
Pop Stitch".

It was a little hard to me to find the exact tension with the hook, to make it soft and puffy, but I am so happy with the final result.
 I started  from one corner increasing in each row, in both sides, until  I got the desired size, continued decreasing in one side making a rectangle shape. The border was crocheted with shell stitch all around and embellished with white ribbon. Great for a baby boy or baby girl.

Hope you like it!

Now, Let me share with you my very first picture tutorial and writen pattern.

I used this corner to corner style or C2C with bubble stitch to make my "All in white Baby Blanket" and turned out very pretty!

Hope you can follow well and make with this sample, it is very easy to make just find your exact tension with the hook to make the Bubble very soft and puffy!

This sample has 14 rows. I am going to
start from one corner, increasing a bubble block in every row on both sides and decreasing when we  I get the desired size, finishing the work on the other corner making a rectangular shape.

Let's get  started!

Abbreviations:
st = stitch
sc = single crochet
ch = chain
sl st= slip stitch
dc = double crochet

Row 1:
 6ch *work 1dc in 3rd ch from hook (2dc) 1dc in each of ch2, 1 sl st in last ch. Tighten gentle *. First Bubble is done!
Turn over your work.

Row 2:
 6ch *work 1dc in 3rd ch from hook (2dc) 1dc un each of ch2, 1 sl st in last ch. Tighten gentle*

Go across and Work 1sl st on ch-2 space from previous row, ch2, work 2dc and 1 sl st all in same space. Two Bubbles are done!
Turn over work

Row 3-6
Continue working as follows.  Increasing bubbles on both sides.

Row 7-9
First decreasing row, one Bubble on one side. (To make rectangular shape)

6ch *work 1dc in 3rd ch from hook (2dc) 1dc in each of ch2, 1 sl st in last ch. Tighten gentle* and work the bubbles  of that row.  Do not make a bubble in last space. Turn over your work and go across to the 1st space of bubble from previous row.

Row 10-14
Continue your work decreasing a bubble. "Now"in both sides, finishing the sample with one Bubble at the other corner,  closing a rectangular shape. Fasten off.

Remark: if you want a square shape, start decreasing bubbles on the sides at the same time.

As you see  this is different to ordinary crochet, but you'll soon pick up this easy technique, you can use this C2C to make blankets, scarves , pillows and you will enjoy it.
Hope you found this tutorial helpful!
