Baby Moments! Teddy bear amigurumi and Baby hat set - Pattern

Today we are all in white!

Amigurumi  Teddy bear with a matching "Baby bear hat ".

Made these for my Photographer friend, thinking it could be a nice "Photography Prop" for baby portraits.

Here is a free pattern of the Teddy Bear

Materials I used for this project:

Bernat Softee Baby Yarn, 5 oz, White, 1 Ball

Crochet Hook, Size G, 4.0mm

Poly-Fil Premium Fiber

 Little white pearls, 

2 safety eyes 6mm 

 (you can just embroider the eyes and nose as well with black thread.)

Teddy Bear

Legs (2)

r1. 5sc in a magic ring(5)

r2. 5inc (10)

r3. (sc,inc)x5 (15)

r4. -r9 sc around , sl st (15)

Fasten off. 

Crochet another leg but don't cut the thread, join them together with sl st. and keep working to make the Body, stuff while working.

r6. dec, 13sc, dec,13sc (28)

r7. sc around (28)

r8. dec, 12sc, dec,12sc (26)

r9. sc around (26)

r10. dec, 11sc,dec, 11sc (24)

Fasten off.  Leave long thread to sew the body to the head.

Arms (2)

r1. 5sc in a magic ring (5)

r2. 5inc (10)

r3- r9 sc around(10)

r10. dec, 3sc, dec, 3sc (8)

r11- r12. 8sc (8)

r13. fold and work 4sc to close the piece(4) stuff just half of the arm

Fasten off,  leaving thread to sew arms to the body.

Head:

r1. 5sc in a magic ring.(5)

r2. 5inc (10)

r3. (sc,inc)x5 (15)

r4. (2sc,inc)x5 (20)

r5. (3sc,inc)x5 (25)

r6. (4sc,inc)x5 (30)

r7-r12.  sc around (30) place eyes between r8-r9 with a space of 5 stitches

r13. (4sc, dec)x5 (25)

r14. (3sc, dec)x5 (20)

r15. (2sc,dec)x5 (15)

r16. (sc,dec)x5 (10)

fasten off. stuff, embroider the nose or do a magic ring with 6sc using fine black yarn.

Ears: (2)

r1. 5sc in a magic ring, don't close, ch1, turn

r2. inc, 3sc, inc. ch1, turn 

r3.  2inc, 3sc, 2inc, fasten off leaving long thread to sew ears to the head.

Little red scarf :

ch 58 +2  (abour 8 inches)

r1. 58 dc , ch2, turn

r2, 58 dc, fasten off.

Little heart ❤with a fine red yarn:

In a magic ring work work 3ch, 2DC, 2hdc, 1DC,2hdc,2DC, 3ch, sl st, fasten off, closed tight the magic ring and make a knot, leaving long tail to sew the heart on the body, you can glue it as well .

Baby Hat

dc: double crochet

ch:chain

fpdc: front post double crochet

r1. ch3, 12dc in a magic ring , sl st(12)

r2 ch2, (inc)x12 , sl st(24)

r3. ch2, (1dc, incdc)x12, sl st (36)

r4. ch2, (1dc, 2incdc)12, sl st (48)

r5. ch2, (3dc, incdc) x12, sl st (60)

r6-r8 ch2 (60dc all around), sl st (60

r9-r11 ch2 ( fpdc, 1dc)x30, sl st (60)

fasten off.

Ears (2)

r1. 12dc in a magic ring.

r2.( inc sc) x12 (24)

r3. 24sc fasten off  leaving long thread to sew ears to the hat.

...And your little Teddy and hat are done!
